How to Upgrade Items in Pokemon GO

The Upgrade is among the most important items in Pokemon GO. It allows trainers to transform Porygon2 into Porygon, and to advance in their Pokedex.

It is a rare item, but it is available by spinning a Photo Disk at a Pokestop or as a prize at special events. What is this item used for?

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into trinkets, weapons or gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect when the item is used. They are an essential component of crafting and can be gathered by salvaging or bought from vendors. They can also be found as drops in the game, dropped by enemies or collected from item spheres. They can be used to upgrade any weapon or armor with an upgrade slot.

To get the highest amount of progress in the game, it's essential to use upgrade components to gain the most experience gained when upgrading weapons and gear. The multiplier of experience for an upgraded item is increased by incorporating organic components, whereas mechanical components reduce it. The best combination is a high experience-multiplier organic component followed by a low-experience-multiplier mechanical component. This will maximize your experience and allow you to progress to the next level of equipment or weapon much easier to attain.

The upgrade system is complex and it's essential to know how it works in order to get the most out of your upgrades. The system works by keeping the experience total in a continuous manner for the item you're upgrading. Each component has an experience multiplier that can be either positive or negative. When the total is at a certain threshold, it is reset to zero.

Additionally, the amount of experience gained from every upgrade component is affected by the hidden rank of the item being upgraded as well as its multiplier of experience. This means that the higher-ranked items are more difficult to upgrade, whereas less ranked items are easier to achieve.

It is essential to remove all fasteners and connections that are holding the old component. Save these for later in an inventory tray for easy identification and secure storage. Once the new hardware is installed, reconnect any wires or cables, and connect the power supply to the electrical power. Test the computer by turning on. If everything is connected properly, the computer should boot normally. This is an essential step to ensure the new hardware will work seamlessly with your current system.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be a fantastic tool to make your gear better, but you need to be able to utilize them correctly. Each glyph can be used to improve an existing substatus and the higher the rank of a Glyph the more powerful it is. You can only upgrade a Glyph only once, so you must choose wisely. Glyphs can also be used only once and disappear after you use them on an object or artifact.

The best characters are those that improve the probability of affixing an affix to the desired tier. These are often found on the most expensive armor, weapons and other accessories. They can also be found on the Paragon Board. They are worth the effort, but it can be difficult to find.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Chests, or purchased at the Trading Post. Certain glyphs can only be used once, whereas others remain in their original position. The latter are a great choice for items that need to be re-rolled frequently. The Glyph of Hope, for example, allows you to increase the chance of acquiring a specific symbol when you are enchanting items.

Some glyphs are also used to modify existing affixes. This is common on gloves and boots. Each can be home to four different affixes. The Glyph of Insight, for instance, changes the prefix into an experimental affix. This is a great tool to have if are looking to increase the amount of damage you can do or want to be sure that you'll receive a top-quality an affix that fits a specific slot.

Once you reach 50, the game changes drastically. You'll no longer be able to rely on the campaign. Instead, you'll have to navigate the Paragon Board, Nightmare Dungeons and grinds that are new to optimize your build.

The most effective glyphs are ones that correspond to your character's type like the Exploit Glyph, which boosts the damage dealt to weak enemies. Other good glyphs include the Control Glyph, which boosts the damage dealt to enemies who are frozen, stunned or slowed. Each glyph has a radius, and the radius increases when you upgrade it. This makes glyphs the most effective way to improve your gear during the last game.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens are items for upgrading that allow players to alter the attribute of an item. You can do this in the item window by selecting an item and then clicking the green button with the arrows that circle. The cost of the reroll is contingent on the rarity of the item.

Reroll tokens can be found in the Mystery Box, as a rare drop from skulled creatures, or purchased from the Trader. You can also get them through Event Items or by receiving them from other players. They can be used to reroll weapons, rings, and armors in increments of two. Each rerolling token gives players the chance to roll an attribute that could be either higher or lower than their previous roll.

In addition to being able to reroll upgrades, the reroll token can also be used to recycle items. Recycling an item will give players a certain amount points that will add to the gauge of level for the item, based on its importance. This is a great method to get rid old equipment that hasn't been upgraded.

The reroll token can also be used to offer new weapon traits. The player can accept or deny these traits. The player can offer up to six items at a time and the options expand depending on the rarity of the item and level increases. This option is accessible by clicking the Upgrade tab on the forge.

Reroll tokens can also be used to reroll the set bonus of an item, which is applied when three or more items from the same set are equipped on the unit. The set bonus can only be applied to units belonging to the same class. It cannot be applied to other classes.

Other upgrades, like recipes, can be changed. They are not available through the shop or reroll, but are instead transferred to the non-droppable Pool when players choose an item from the Food Card that requires new ingredients or Equipment. Reroll tokens can be used to reroll these additional bonuses, but the base stats (including all upgrades) and level remain the same.

Leveling

In the game, players can level up equipment by using an item upgrade item. These items can be made by obtaining the required ingredients from NPCs that are upgraders in major cities. Once an item is upgraded, it will receive a bonus to its base stats. Certain affixes can be changed. This could result in a significant boost to the ilvl of an item.

The maximum level of the item will rise if there are more upgrades. The player can upgrade the item to as many times as they want. This will let them reach gear breakpoints which will increase the chances of rerolling certain affixes.
